CROATIAN RHAPSODY TOUR

Among many interesting sights and attractions on Croatia Adriatic here is one more.
A bookstore boat, a boat of culture, a unique cultural tourism project, which sails the Adriatic with over thousands of books and various magazines; with well-known writers and poets whose goal is to promote the culture of reading and writing.

Katarina Line was proud to host the Croatian Minister of Tourism in our offices on 17th of June.   
The minister, together with his cabinet members and local tourist officials , inspected the head office and expressed his satisfaction with the representative building and offices.

We got ourselves a GoPro! Stay tuned for upcoming cruising footage, and meanwhile this is a short and secret morning tour of our headquarters! Unfortunately not all of us were in! Enjoy!

The Stanford Wind Ensemble is part of the Department of Music.  Players who are part of this ensemble are not necessarily music majors, but potential doctors, engineers, and lawyers who share a strong passion for music.  Admission to this group is through competitive auditions, and participation in the Wind Ensemble - like other musical ensembles - is a sign of prestige for students.  Among the different ensembles of the University, the Wind Ensemble is one of the largest and more visible.  It can be considered as an ambassador for the university. 

The repertoire is among the most diverse and heterogeneous, and particularly favors modern compositions.  In recent years, several composers have written for the Stanford Wind Ensemble.  For this tour, Maestro Giancarlo Aquilanti composed the Concerto for Trumpet and Wind Ensemble.  The solo part will be performed by renowned trumpeter Marco Pierobon.  Fragments by Martino Torquati and Mirages by Davide Martelli also will be premiered during this tour.

Ashley Colburn has won a prestigious Emmy Award for her documentary "WOW Croatia" - Her first major independent production, a seven-part travel series that covers the main tourist regions of Croatia, which was distributed to 150 million houses worldwide.
