Dubrovnik built within imposing walls, with small streets and a numerous of stairs leading to the heart of the town, is an open living museum which could preserve during all the centuries the taste for art and its cultural, architectural patrimonial. During your visit you will discover the Franciscan monastery which houses the ancient pharmacy of the 14th century. Your visit is followed by the Treasury of the cathedral and is concluded with the Rector’s Palace where you will see his residence where he is isolated during one month.

TRSTENO ARBORETUM & THE TOWN OF STON

The tour begins with a leisurely stroll through Trsteno's renowned arboretum. At over 500 years old and housing more than 300 species of exotic tree and plant life, the arboretum is widely acknowledged as one of the finest gardens in Europe.

After an exploration of the botanical garden, the tour moves to Ston. This historic town is surrounded by a 5km long fortified wall, the second longest in the world after the Great Wall of

China, which was originally erected in 1358 to protect the town. Now, over 20 towers still remain and the wall represents an impressive flashback to the past. Having worked up your appetite, your tour then moves on to Ston's ancient salt pans which are still being worked today after over 2,000 years and, unusually, are home to an oyster farm. Thanks to the unique ecological balance of the area, the farm grows a variety of oyster that have died out elsewhere making these a truly special delicacy.

On the way back to Dubrovnik you will visit the famous wine cellar of Peljesac and have the opportunity of tasting wine characterized this region!

A village “at the back of beyond” and yet only half an hour drive from Dubrovnik. Few traditional stone houses with hats of red tiled roofs dotted around sloppy terraced land. Landlords will entertain you to your heart’s content: with heart-warming homemade grape brandy and figs, meal cooked under the iron bell and village songs. And before too long, you’ll be clapping your hands and tapping your feet to the rhythm of jolly tunes, raising a glass of delicious wine and joining in a festive atmosphere in this country home surroundings.

Your half day adventure at Adriatic sea starts beneath fort Lovrjenac in the small port called Pile, next to restaurant Orhan. Accompanied with instructors, you will set off to explore caves and beauties of Lokrum island until you reach hidden cave beach called Betina, where you will have a break for snorkeling and sandwiches. Upon your return, discover why an easy paddling in kayaks beneath the old city walls, is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with Dubrovnik from the seaside!

Montenegro is a place of many natural and historical beauties. The Montenegro excursion will pass through the magnificent Boka kotorska bay offering exquisite view of the bay. Montenegro excursion then continues to Kotor for the guided visit of the town and a chance to enjoy the history of this renowned town. Maritime museum and the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon are the high points of Kotor. Kotor will also be a chance to make a pause in our excursion and enjoy in the refreshments. Afterwards our journey reaches Budva, one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic.
